Emulex Gains Market Share in Fibre Channel Adapter Market and Benefits from 8Gb/s Fibre Channel Transition
COSTA MESA, Calif., Aug 13, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX) today announced that it has gained market share across the entire Fibre Channel adapter market, including total revenue, total port, standup cards and mezzanine Host Bust Adapters (HBAs) according to the Dell' Oro Group. Most importantly, Emulex gained share in the 8Gb/s Fibre Channel transition this quarter. All of these gains lead to Emulex gaining almost three percent of Fibre Channel adapter revenue market share against its nearest competitor.
